iPhone 3G Melenggang ke India

Jakarta - Setelah santer diberitakan bahwa iPhone 3G akan melebarkan sayap ke 21 negara lainnya, kini bisa dipastikan bahwa hal tersebut akan segera terealisasi.

Operator mobile terbesar ketiga di India, Vodafone Essar, siap memasarkan smartphone besutan Apple tersebut dengan harga 31.000 Rupee atau sekitar USD 708 untuk versi 8GB.

Sementara, seperti dikutip detikINET dari Reuters, Jumat (22/8/2008), untuk versi 16GB, iPhone 3G akan dipasarkan oleh Vodafone Essar pada harga 36.100 rupee atau sekitar USD 824.

Vodafone Essar bukanlah satu-satunya operator yang memasarkan iPhone 3G di India. Selain Vodafone Essar, ada Bharti Airtel, yang merupakan rival tangguhnya. Kedua operator tersebut akan mulai memasarkan iPhone 3G Jumat ini. Berbeda dengan Vodafone Essar yang telah mengumumkan bandrol harga untuk iPhone 3G, Bharti Airtel belum mengumumkan hal tersebut.
